The Palm Springs Modernism Show 2025 Celebrated its Milestone 25th Year at Modernism Week

The Palm Springs Modernism Show marked its 25th year as the premier showcase of iconic mid-century modern and contemporary design, featuring over 130 exhibitors from around the world.  

The event started with a star-studded Opening Night Party on February 14, 2025. This milestone celebration was a featured event of Palm Springs Modernism Week, drawing designers and design enthusiasts from across the globe to experience iconic vintage, mid-century modern, and contemporary design.

This year’s event welcomed more than 14,000 attendees, including some of the most influential figures in the design world. Design luminaries such as Martyn Lawrence Bullard, Madeline Stuart, Oliver Furth, Kerry Joyce, Chris Barrett, and Fern Santini were in attendance, along with celebrities including Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos, and Jane Seymour, adding to the event’s prestige. The weekend showcased an unparalleled display of design excellence, cementing the Palm Springs Modernism Show as a must-visit destination for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

The show featured more than 130 exhibitors from around the world, offering an exclusive selection of vintage 20th-century pieces and compelling 21st-century designs. Exhibitors presented a broad array of items, including furniture, lighting, sculptures, paintings, jewelry, silver, glass, ceramics, photography, textiles, vintage clothing, and more. Each piece showcased was unique and independently sourced, reflecting the event’s commitment to one-of-a-kind craftsmanship. The 2025 presenting sponsor was Airstream Inland Empire, joined by notable sponsors including Bidsquare, Abell Auctioneer, Amara Rugs, Brand G Vacations, Freightforwarding.com, and John Moran Auctioneer. Media sponsors included Atomic Ranch, California Homes, California Home & Design, Incollect Magazine, and Palm Springs Life.

This year’s exhibitors represented a rich diversity of galleries and designers from across the U.S. and around the globe, each offering unique perspectives on vintage, modernist, and contemporary design.  

“This year’s show was a return to the glory days of Modernism with a renewed interest in viewing and purchasing,” said Patrick Dragonette, founder of Dragonette Ltd. “The return of the designers was a welcome site for exhibitors and led to robust sales across many categories. With a real buyers crowd our sales were shipped to Florida, Texas, and elsewhere. This was our most successful show in years!”

The exhibition combines Hollywood glamour with modernist design elements in a theatrical, gallery-like setting.
