After sixteen years as a leading standalone portal for the antiques trade, Antiques News & Fairs (ANF) is moving to collaborate with The House Directory (THD).
The most popular fairs calendar in the UK will move to its new home on the leading portal for the design industry over the summer of 2024, along with other elements of the ANF site.
This partnership enables these brands to combine audiences, expanding the reach for members. The collaboration will focus intially on the fairs calendar but ideas are percolating for future developments in the event organisation arena and providing marketing and PR services for clients.
“Where Antiques Meet Interior Design” is the strapline chosen for this new partnership, and that very much sums up their mission!
From Gail McLeod founder of ANF:
“After working successfully with the talented Angel Tan, owner of THD, on a number of projects over the past few years, it became obvious that the strong synergy between our brands would offer many advantages as a formal collaboration.”
From Angel Tan, owner of THD:
“The House Directory is thrilled to join forces with ANF as we integrate their renowned fairs calendar over the next few months. After a successful collaboration this past year, it’s clear that our brands are highly aligned. Gail, a formidable presence with extensive connections in the antiques sector, has successfully managed the fairs calendar for over sixteen years. This partnership will enable both brands to mutually benefit from a combined audience, expanding the reach for our members and events alike.”
Industry Leaders Support the Collaboration
Several industry leaders weighed in with their take on the partnership.
Toby Lorford, founder of global brand Lorfords Antiques, said:
“We have worked with ANF for many years and we know how hard Gail and her team work for their clients on both sides of the pond. We are excited to learn of this new collaboration with the trusted and respected interior design brand, The House Directory, which has an impressive reach across the industry.”
Edward Bulmer, award-winning heritage interior designer and founder of Edward Bulmer Natural Paint, added:
“The House Directory is the original little black book of interiors; it opens up a world of the most respected professionals and suppliers. We are excited to hear about this important fusion of antiques and interior design with the two leading brands.”
Pippa Roberts, Public Relations and Marketing for The Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair, concluded:
“What an inspired information source the blending of Antiques News with The House Directory will be, especially for those of us whose work has always blended interiors and antiques. The Decorative Fair has partnered with both for decades, as we know our audience is seeking both the most interesting antiques and design as well as the best in decoration. This new venture will be indispensable!”
Ronati is proud to partner with ANF & THD, both of whom are working with Ronati as part of ongoing media partnerships.
