A New Chapter: Art & Antiques Joins the Spirit of Christmas Fair

The art and antiques world is witnessing an exciting evolution this November. After eight successful years of co-location, the Winter Art & Antiques Fair at Olympia will be fully integrated into the Spirit of Christmas Fair, creating a unified marketplace from November 3–9, 2025.

A Natural Partnership

This integration represents more than just a logistical merger — it’s the culmination of years of natural synergy between two complementary events. For nearly a decade, Art & Antiques exhibitors have successfully engaged with Spirit of Christmas visitors, while Christmas Fair attendees have discovered exceptional pieces from antiques dealers. The crossover has been remarkable, with both audiences sharing a common appreciation for quality, craftsmanship, and unique finds.

The demographics tell the story: both events attract primarily affluent, high net-worth individuals — those top-tier ACORN categories who seek out distinctive pieces and understand true value. It’s a sophisticated audience that appreciates both the heritage of fine antiques and the magic of a curated Christmas experience.

Thoughtful Curation

The Art & Antiques section won’t simply be added to the Spirit of Christmas Fair — it will be thoughtfully integrated to create a seamless, enhanced experience for all visitors. This careful curation ensures that the sophisticated atmosphere antiques dealers and their clients expect will be maintained while offering exciting new opportunities for discovery and connection.

Early response from dealers has been encouraging, with many recognizing this as a valuable opportunity to connect with new buyers and expand their customer base. The integrated format offers the potential to reach collectors who might not typically attend a standalone antiques fair but are drawn in by the broader Christmas Fair appeal.

Strategic Timing

The integration also addresses a practical challenge facing the antiques community. The LAPADA Fair at Berkeley Square has moved its dates a week earlier, creating significant logistical difficulties for dealers who previously participated in both events. The staffing and stock requirements of managing two major fairs in quick succession had become increasingly challenging for many exhibitors.

This timing shift has reinforced the wisdom of the integration approach, allowing dealers to focus their resources on one exceptional event rather than spreading themselves thin across multiple venues.

Looking Forward

As the November 2025 date approaches, this integration promises to benefit everyone — dealers, collectors, and visitors alike. The combined event offers the best of both worlds: the sophistication and heritage of fine art and antiques alongside the warmth and celebration of the Christmas season.

However, it’s important to note that while interest has been strong, confirmed participation from dealers is necessary for this vision to become reality. This is a pivotal moment for the future of the Art & Antiques presence at Olympia, and dealers are encouraged to engage early in the planning process.

The integration of these two beloved events represents an exciting new chapter—one that honors the traditions of both while creating fresh opportunities for growth and connection in the art and antiques community.
